Who we are

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry or catalogue request, we collect:

• Contact details: your name, company, work email and phone number.
• Enquiry details: who you are gifting, occasion, quantity, budget per gift, delivery date, delivery cities, whether you want company branding or our catalogue, and any hampers you shortlisted.
• Context about the visit: the page you submitted from, which button you clicked, and campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source).

To protect the form from spam, your IP address is checked against a short-term limit on the number of submissions. It is held briefly in server memory and is not stored with your enquiry. We do not collect payment details, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and share curated options, samples, quotes and our catalogue.
• To plan, brand and deliver your order if you go ahead.
• To understand which pages and campaigns bring enquiries, so we can improve the site.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Where it is stored and who processes it

Enquiries are stored in a Google Sheet that only our team can access, using Google Sheets (Google LLC). This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. These providers process data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside India.

If website analytics is switched on, Google Analytics records anonymous usage such as pages viewed and buttons clicked. It does not receive the details you type into the enquiry form.

Cookies

This website does not set its own cookies. If Google Analytics is enabled, it sets cookies to measure visits; you can block or delete them in your browser settings without affecting the enquiry form.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can follow up on orders and repeat gifting. After that we delete them, sooner if you ask us to.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct or update it;
• delete it, or withdraw your consent to us using it;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

Email theprerishjourney@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

The site uses HTTPS, form submissions are checked on our server, and access to stored enquiries is limited to our team. No online system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We may update this policy as our services change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
